Who We Are: Zerttew Global

Founded in 2016 by Valentine Garacho, a Zimbabwean entrepreneur and industrialist with a background in mining and international business. We maximise value creation for stakeholders by identifying business opportunities and deploying innovative financial structures. Our focus areas include capital raising, mining and resources, agriculture and pharmaceuticals. Funded by Swiss private equity firms, partner finance, and global banking entities. Our partnerships include Henry Walker Eltin, Western Mining Corporation, Goldfields, CAMEC, ENRC, Taurus Gold and Orion Minerals. We have a presence in London, Switzerland, Dubai, South Africa, Mauritius, Mozambique and Zimbabwe. Led by a multi-disciplinary group of experienced and knowledgeable professionals with expertise in all areas of operations. Supported by strong business relationships, ethical business operations and strong governance frameworks.

Our Framework and Governance

The Zerttew framework is intended to serve as a support or guide in the business operations and conduct. Our framework is very comprehensive and more prescriptive and this assists us in delivering our promise. Our good governance framework is built upon these twelve principles: abide to the rule of law, accountability, transparency, stewardship, integrity, leadership, efficiency, participatory, consensus oriented, responsive, effectiveness, and inclusive. These principles are critical in successfully forming solid professional relationships among our stakeholders which include directors, managers, employees, and shareholders. Good governance is at the heart of any successful business. It is essential for Zerttew to achieve its objectives and drive improvement, as well as maintain legal and ethical standing in the eyes of shareholders, regulators and the communities we serve. The basic purpose of corporate governance is to monitor those parties within a company which control the resources owned by investors. The primary objective of sound corporate governance is to contribute to improved corporate performance and accountability in creating long-term shareholder value.

Our Environmental Policy

Zerttew has an environmental policy that includes laws which address water and air pollution, chemical and drinking water quality, land conservation and management, wildlife and endangered species protection. Mitigating the impact resource extraction has on the planet is our responsibility as an exploration and mining company and we take our policies very seriously. Zerttew practices the highest environmental standards and is committed to fulfilling the objectives of our environmental policy. We have made great strides to minimise the environmental footprints of our clients operations by improving the reclamation of the land they operate on. Our main objective of environmental policy is to regulate resources, reduce pollution, promote human welfare and protect natural systems. To achieve this Zerttew subscribes to the following main laws of the Global Environmental Rights: the Clean Air Act (CAA), the Clean Water Act (CWA), the Safe Drinking Water Act (SOWA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), the Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act/Superfund Amendments and Re-Authorisation Act (CERCLA/SARA). Our environmental planning mainly deals with the administrative aspects of environmental preservation and management. We focus on the use of natural resources then attempt to predict any risks or challenges that may occur, then create plans to mitigate these challenges. The main goal of our environmental work through policy implementation is to keep our industrial processes at its lowest possible impact on the environment. Our strategy is abide to all official requirements by implementing an active environmental management system and to continuously improve our environmental standard.

Zerttew focuses on building a positive corporate culture founded on the company's code of ethics. This is our basic and core belief that expands to all facets of Zerttew Global. Our management philosophy is to provide an environment that leads to productive employees. We set beliefs and rules that help managers make the right decisions and give direction and cohesion to the employees they lead.
